Jordan Addison Salvages Fantasy Performance with Second-Half Touchdown

Friday, October 24, 12:34 AM

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison caught three of his four targets for 26 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 8 loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. Addison's trip to the end zone came on a four-yard reception with fewer than five minutes remaining in the third quarter. The touchdown salvaged his fantasy performance and brought him to four consecutive games with double-digit fantasy points (PPR). He's averaging 16.0 fantasy points per game since his season debut in Week 4, which is tied for the 17th-highest average among all NFL receivers during that span. He's a solid low-end WR2 heading into Week 9 against the Detroit Lions.

Matthew Golden Questionable For Sunday Night Against Pittsburgh

Friday, October 24, 5:02 PM

Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden (hip) was added to Friday's injury report and was a limited participant in practice, according to the team. The severity of Golden's injury is currently unknown, but a late-week addition to the injury report isn't ideal and puts his status in question for Sunday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The first-round pick out of Texas has been highly efficient so far this season, recording 18 receptions for 249 yards on 23 targets. He is still searching for his first career touchdown, but he will get a good opportunity to find the end zone in Week 8 if he can suit up. The Steelers have allowed the ninth most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers, and just allowed Ja'Marr Chase to rack up 16 catches for 161 yards and a touchdown in Week 7.
