Julio Jones Announces Retirement

Friday, April 4, 7:32 PM

Former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones has officially announced his retirement. The Alabama product had an incredible run as a Falcon, with whom he spent nine seasons before serving three consecutive one-year stints with the Tennessee Titans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Philadelphia Eagles. Jones tallied 914 receptions, 13,703 yards, and 66 touchdowns in 166 career games. The 35-year-old is the author of the third-highest single-season receiving yardage total of all time and ranks No. 16 on the all-time list of most receiving yards in a career. Jones was a spectacle on the field, with a rare blend of size, speed, and physicality that sought to give any defensive back fits. The former sixth-overall pick of the 2011 draft holds an excellent case for becoming a member of the Hall of Fame.

Stefon Diggs Looking to Snap Low-Volume Skid

Saturday, December 20, 12:55 AM

New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs will look to get back on track in Week 16 against the Baltimore Ravens following a disappointing three-game stretch. Over his last three contests, Diggs has played fewer than half of the offensive snaps with just 11 targets, eight catches, 72 yards, and zero touchdowns. He ranks as the overall WR82 in full-PPR fantasy points per game during that span. It has been a frustrating stretch for a veteran receiver who had previously strung together five consecutive contests with double-digit fantasy points. This week, he'll take on a Ravens secondary that has allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points to slot receivers in 2025. That doesn't bode well for Diggs, who has played 49.8% of his snaps in the slot and has the 19th-most slot snaps in the NFL this year. Managers can absolutely justify benching the 32-year-old in fantasy leagues with 12 or fewer teams. He ranks as the overall WR31 in RotoBaller's latest fantasy football rankings for Week 16.
