Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt carried the ball seven times for 22 yards in a 29-12 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 12. Hunt finished second on the team in rushing, well behind leader Jerome Ford's 65 yards. Hunt also didn't draw a target, leaving him with just 12 across his six games played in 2023. The veteran's role in the Cleveland backfield has been much different than in recent years as he's been used as the short-yardage back as opposed to the pass-catching role he occupied in past seasons. Hunt will remain a touchdown-or-bust flex option heading into a Week 13 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

Carolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders carried the ball 15 times for 28 yards and failed to corral his lone target in a 17-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 12. Sanders wound up seeing one more carry than Chuba Hubbard, although the latter caught five passes for 47 yards. The Panthers appear committed to splitting carries between the two players but Sanders remains on the outside looking in as he hasn't hit double-digit PPR points since Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks. He is nothing more than a handcuff option heading into Week 13 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
