Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. hauled in seven of his 10 targets for 62 yards in Week 7, which was his second seven-catch performance in six games thus far and the first time he recorded double-digit targets, now averaging just over six targets per game. The 6-foot-6 tight end owns a solid 19.3 percent target share, putting him in the low-end TE1 conversation most weeks, however, he's been able to find the end zone just one time all season, leaving him as just the 16th-overall TE in half-point PPR leagues. Still, the 25-year-old is back in the TE1 conversation in a home game against the Dolphins, a defense that has given up 29 points per game over the last three weeks. Teams have preferred to run against Miami, but with six teams on bye and it being National Tight Ends' Day (he caught two TDs last year on that day), the former first-round draft pick sets up as a low-end TE1 again.

Chicago Bears rookie tight end Colston Loveland could be on the verge of a breakout performance in Week 7 against the New Orleans Saints. It's been a quiet start to his rookie campaign, with five catches for 54 yards through five games. The tenth overall pick has opened the season behind veteran Cole Kmet, but Week 6 hinted at a gap closing between the two. Kmet played 52% of the snaps, while Loveland saw 43%, even as the Bears used two-tight end sets at their lowest rate of the year. Head coach Ben Johnson later said the formation usage was game-plan specific, but Loveland's increased role is a promising sign. The rookie now faces a Saints defense that has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to tight ends this season. While Loveland isn't startable yet, Week 7 could mark the beginning of his breakout as he continues to close the gap for TE1 duties in Chicago.
