New York Jets tight end Mason Taylor has taken a step back in the team's offensive attack and is nothing more than a low-floor dart throw at the position for this weekend's outing with the visiting Miami Dolphins. The integration of wide receivers John Metchie III and Adonai Mitchell into the Jets' scheme has caused Taylor's opportunities to dial back significantly over the back half of the season. While quarterback Tyrod Taylor has been somewhat of a boon to New York's game plan, the added target threats have diminished the rookie's floor and ceiling. In addition, teammate Garrett Wilson (knee) could return as early as next Sunday, further dropping the rookie in the passing game hierarchy.
