Matthew Wright Will Kick for the Titans in Week 6

Friday, October 10, 2:22 PM

With kicker Joey Slye (calf) officially out for Week 6 due to a calf injury, the Tennessee Titans will turn to Matthew Wright to handle the kicking duties on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders. Wright has appeared in 29 games across five NFL seasons for six different teams, making 55 out of 63 (87.3%) of his career field goal attempts. Wright appeared in five games spread across three teams in 2024, including two with Tennessee. He made 15 out of 16 field goal attempts last year, although his longest make was from just 50 yards out. Wright profiles as a kicker for fantasy managers to avoid in Week 6 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Falcons Sticking With Parker Romo in Week 4

Friday, September 26, 8:12 PM

Atlanta Falcons kicker Parker Romo will kick again for the team in their Week 4 tilt on Sunday against the visiting Washington Commanders, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The Falcons moved on from former kicker Younghoe Koo after a disappointing performance in the season opener and replaced him with Romo in Week 2. Romo made all five of his field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point try in the Week 3 win over the Minnesota Vikings. However, it didn't last, as he missed both of his field-goal attempts in last week's 30-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers. For now, the Falcons will stick with the 28-year-old heading into Week 4. Romo has gone 16-for-19 in his NFL career on field goals and has missed one of his 10 extra-point tries. Fantasy managers should look for better streaming options.
