Robert Woods Catches Six Passes In Week 2

Monday, September 18, 1:28 AM

Houston Texans wide receiver Robert Woods caught six passes for 74 yards in the team's 31-20 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2. Woods continues to be productive with his new team and has become a security blanket for rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud in the passing game. In Houston's first scoring drive, Woods brought in a five-yard grab on third down before the team converted on a fourth and short, which eventually led to a touchdown. The veteran wideout has 131 receiving yards through two weeks, and he'll look to catch his first touchdown pass of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3.

Kadarius Toney News

Kadarius Toney Has A Sprained Toe

Wednesday, September 20, 8:38 PM

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (toe) missed practice on Wednesday due to a sprained toe that he suffered in the Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. It always seems to be something for Toney. After playing 25 percent of the offensive snaps in the season opener, Toney played 28 percent of the snaps last Sunday. Through two contests, he's caught six of his 10 targets for 36 yards. The Chiefs plan all along was to ease the 24-year-old into the fold after he missed most of training camp and the preseason due to injury, and now he's questionable to play in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears this Sunday. Toney has tantalizing upside with the ball in his hands, but he just hasn't been able to stay healthy early in his NFL career.
