Tank Bigsby Returns to Practice on Wednesday

Wednesday, August 19, 7:29 AM

Olivia Reiner of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Philadelphia Eagles running back Tank Bigsby (toe) is practicing at training camp on Wednesday in some capacity. Bigsby missed some practice time recently with a minor toe injury, but he is back now and should not be in any danger of missing the start of the 2026 regular season. The 24-year-old former third-rounder by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2023 from Auburn played in just one game last year with Jacksonville before being acquired by the Eagles. He had 58 carries for 344 yards and two touchdowns as a rusher in Philly, adding only three catches for 32 yards in 16 regular-season games. Bigsby has averaged 4.5 yards per carry in his three NFL seasons and will be one of the best handcuff options in fantasy football going into his first full year with the Eagles behind starter Saquon Barkley. RotoBaller has Bigsby ranked as the No. 44 fantasy RB in 2026.

Jaydon Blue News

Jaydon Blue Strengthens His Case for the Cowboys' Primary Backup Job

Sunday, August 23, 5:54 AM

As a rookie in 2025, Dallas Cowboys running back Jaydon Blue saw the field in only five games, but a strong showing in Saturday night's preseason win over the Cardinals has him well positioned to earn the primary backup responsibilities behind veteran Javonte Williams. In a game that the Cowboys led 24-6 by halftime, Blue ran for 75 yards on a team-leading 15 carries, showcasing the quick feet that allowed him to top 1,000 yards from scrimmage in his final season at Texas. Listed as the team's second running back when the Cowboys released their first unofficial depth chart of the summer, nothing that's happened since then would suggest Blue is in danger of losing what could be a valuable insurance role behind a player who has managed a full 17-game slate only twice in his five-year career. With enough potential standalone value to eventually work his way into streaming flex consideration, Blue could surprise in 2026, but his true upside comes as a handcuff to Williams in an offense that averaged more than 125 rushing yards per game a season ago.
