Hurts ankle in finale

Bridgewater was replaced by P.J. Walker in Sunday's season-ending 33-7 loss to New Orleans, and coach Matt Rhule revealed after the game that Bridgewater's exit was due to an ankle injury, Bill Both of the Panthers' official site reports. Prior to his exit, Bridgewater completed 13 of 23 passes for 176 yards and two interceptions while adding seven yards on three rushing attempts.

Benched late in losing effort

Hurts completed just seven of his 20 passing attempts for 72 yards, no touchdowns and an interception while adding 34 yards and two rushing touchdowns on eight carries before being benched in favor of Nate Sudfeld in the second half of Sunday's loss to the Washington Football Team.
