Bengals Hope Tee Higgins Can Return In Week 13

Monday, November 27, 7:28 PM

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring), who injured his hamstring during practice on Nov. 8 and has missed the last three games, has a chance to play in Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It's been a frustrating year for Higgins, who wasn't able to work out a long-term extension with the team before the start of the regular season. He then cracked a rib in Week 4 and missed Week 5. The 24-year-old had his first 100-yard game of the year in his last game in Week 9, and his return would be a big boost to an offense that will be without star quarterback Joe Burrow (wrist) for the rest of the year. However, Higgins' fantasy stock will also be down the rest of the way now that he'll be working with Jake Browning under center when he's back on the field. Higgins could be questionable for next Monday night's game against the Jags, which would make him even more risky for fantasy purposes.

DeVonta Smith News

DeVonta Smith Finally Breaks The Century Mark In Receiving Yards

Sunday, November 26, 9:13 PM

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith caught seven of eight targets for 106 yards and a touchdown during the team's 37-34 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 12. The 25-year-old found himself wide open on multiple occasions, with the Buffalo defense selling out to keep A.J. Brown under wraps. Smith caught a 15-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter to put the Eagles within three points of the Bills. Outside of Smith and Brown, no player on the team saw more than three targets Sunday. When Dallas Goedert (forearm) is off the field, the dynamic duo carries this passing attack, making both elite fantasy options regardless of the matchup. Smith will remain a top-tier WR2 next week against a San Francisco secondary that is bottom 10 in yards allowed to wide receivers.
