Terrell Jennings News
Saturday, December 13, 11:07 AM
New England Patriots running back Terrell Jennings (concussion) has been placed on injured reserve and will miss the final four games of the regular season, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. Rapoport adds that the Patriots expect Jennings to return for the team's playoff run. Jennings impressed while sharing touches with TreVeyon Henderson for a small stretch of games earlier this season, but he fell back to the No. 3 spot on the depth chart when Rhamondre Stevenson returned to action in Week 13. The 24-year-old has been a solid depth option within this backfield, amassing 73 rushing yards, nine receiving yards, and one touchdown through seven games. New England lacks reliable backfield depth behind Henderson and Stevenson now that Jennings, Antonio Gibson (knee), Deneric Prince (undisclosed), and Craig Reynolds (undisclosed) are all sidelined for extended periods of time. The Patriots will likely elevate D'Ernest Johnson from the practice squad to replace Jennings for Week 15.

LeQuint Allen Jr. News
Wednesday, April 1, 8:11 PM
Jacksonville Jaguars running back LeQuint Allen Jr. is trending up ahead of the 2026 season. Allen remains No. 3 on the depth chart after the Jaguars watched Travis Etienne Jr. depart in free agency, but replaced him with Chris Rodriguez Jr. There's a clear path to meaningful playing time for Allen, who may get on the field even more as Jacksonville's passing-down specialist. Allen was spectacular in pass protection last year, blocking some of the league's most talented pass rushers when he got on the field. He only touched the ball 33 times as a rookie, but he still got on the field for at least 25% of the snaps in more than one-third of the Jaguars' games. It's too early to project his workload for 2026, but we do expect his snap count to increase by a noticeable amount. Depending on just how involved Allen gets, he could even sneak onto the fantasy radar as a low-end RB3/flex in deeper PPR leagues.
