Josh Jacobs News

Josh Jacobs to Participate in Limited Team Drills on Monday

Monday, August 24, 7:01 AM

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (groin) has dealt with a multi-week groin injury that held him out of Friday's preseason matchup with the Broncos, but he will participate in Monday's practice, according to team beat writer Ryan Wood. Head Coach Matt LaFleur told reporters ahead of practice that Jacobs would participate in team drills with limitations. Injuries derailed what started as a strong second season with the Packers, and following a tumultuous offseason that could still see disciplinary ramifications, Jacobs has fallen to RB15 by current ADP. While his legal situation makes for a risky click even at his depressed draft cost, if Jacobs is healthy and available for a full slate of games, he has top-five upside and could prove to be a league-winner in 2026.
