Tyreek Hill News

Tyreek Hill Practicing on Thursday

Thursday, August 28, 12:31 PM

David Furones of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (oblique) is practicing on Thursday, per head coach Mike McDaniel. McDaniel said earlier on Thursday that Hill is expected to play in Week 1 of the regular season against the Indianapolis Colts despite missing a lot of training camp due to a nagging oblique injury. Now that the 31-year-old speedster is back on the field with another week until the season opener, it's safe to assume he'll be active on Sunday, Sept. 7. Although Hill was limited on Thursday, McDaniel said that "everything looks great." The Cheetah will slowly be ramped up going into next weekend as both he and the Dolphins offense look to bounce back from a disappointing 2024 campaign. Hill still has the skills to produce 1,000 yards for fantasy managers, but his value is tied to the health of oft-injured QB Tua Tagovailoa, putting him on the WR1/2 borderline.

DJ Moore News

DJ Moore Taking Reps as Running Back

Monday, August 25, 5:19 PM

With the Chicago Bears' running back room currently decimated by injuries, wide receiver DJ Moore was seen taking reps at RB during combination drills with the QBs at practice on Monday, according to Bears reporter Herb Howard. It's not the first time that Moore has taken handoffs out of the backfield in training camp this summer as a wrinkle in new head coach Ben Johnson's offensive playbook. The only RBs that dressed for practice were D'Andre Swift and Brittain Brown. The Bears seem to be trying to manufacture touches for the 28-year-old wideout in Johnson's offense, but fantasy managers realistically probably shouldn't expect him to see more than a handful of carries, at best, on a weekly basis. The former first-rounder had a career-high 98 catches for 966 yards and six scores in 17 starts with Caleb Williams in his rookie season. Chicago's offense could be much better this year, but Rome Odunze is a threat to steal valuable targets. Treat Moore as a low-end WR2/high-end WR3.
