What We Learned from the Super Wild Card Games
Rushing QBs Remain King
Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen both stole the show in their respective games and were leaned on heavily when the going got tough. Lamar Jackson gave the Ravens the explosive plays they needed on the ground as he ran for 136 yards and a touchdown while also throwing for 179 yards and an interception. If he’s going to be calling his number 10-15 times a game he gives you a leg-up on the rest at the position. You’d like to see a thrown touchdown or two and he may be able to give you that against the Bills this upcoming week. Meanwhile, Josh Allen led the Bills to its first playoff victory in over 20 years and was fantastic against the Colts. He threw for 324 yards and a pair of touchdowns while gaining 54 yards and a touchdown on 11 designated carries. These two QBs will both be ranked inside the top-5 at the position in 2021 and remain great dynasty assets.
