The Giants cut Koehn for their practice squad, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Koehn was added to New York's practice squad last Friday. He's appeared in one NFL game and converted his only extra-point attempt in 2017 with the Bengals.
Koehn signed with the Giants' practice squad on Friday.
Analysis: Koehn's spot on the practice squad comes following the release of tight end Garrett Dickerson. The 26-year-old was previously released from New York's practice squad on Oct. 12, but has rejoined the group as an emergency option at the kicker position behind starter Aldrick Rosas.
Koehn was released from the Giants' practice squad Friday, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
Analysis: Koehn signed to the practice squad earlier this week as a precaution with starter Aldrick Rosas dealing with a quad injury. Rosas was deemed healthy enough following Thursday's loss to the Eagles that Koehn's presence was no longer necessary.
Koehn signed with the Giants' practice squad on Tuesday.
Analysis: Koehn had spent the offseason with the Giants, but the team ultimately went with incumbent starter Alrdick Rosas, who has been off to a great start this season. However, with the kicker dealing with a quadriceps injury on a short week, Koehn would likely be promoted to the active roster for Thursday's game against the Eagles should Rosas be inactive.
The Giants waived Koehn on Saturday, Ryan Dunleavy of NJ.com reports.
Analysis: With one career appearance, Koehn still went down to the wire with incumbent kicker Aldrick Rosas. Expect Koehn to hit the tryout circuit as he searches for another gig.
