Adrian Peterson Cut
The biggest surprise coming from the 53-man final roster cuts was RB Adrian Peterson. Peterson was slated to be the lead back for the Washington Football team, even though rookie Antonio Gibson has made quite some noise in camp. Now it looks like Washington was happy enough with Gibson and fellow running backs Bryce Love, Peyton Barber, and J.D. McKissic. Peterson was not a free agent for long, signing a one-year deal with the Lions.
Now, this mostly shows that Washington plans on using Gibson (and maybe Love) in their future, so their stocks should both go up in dynasty. Gibson is a big back at 6’2” and 220 lbs and was a WR for most of his college career. The fact that Washington felt comfortable with Gibson should make dynasty owners very excited.
