Typically people reach for these QBs the year after their massive season but then are burned by a regression. Patrick Mahomes is a great example of this. Last year Mahomes was going as the 1st QB off the board and probably in the 2nd-3rd round. However, injuries and regression brought Mahomes, and his owners, back to Earth.
