Like I said in the intro, this week was one of the worse I’ve seen in a long time in terms of injuries to big-time players.
First and foremost, Giants’ running back Saquon Barkley went down grabbing his knee immediately in their game against the Bears. Initial reports were that he tore his ACL, and it appears as though he indeed has. This is a massive blow to any player, and especially to a running back. For some, it ruins their careers, but there are examples of where the player comes back and still performs. Let’s hope Barkley has a speedy, easy recovery.
