Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams will drop back down to second on the depth chart with Puka Nacua (ankle) returning against the New Orleans Saints in Week 9. Nevertheless, he's still one of the better No. 2 options in the NFL and is a borderline must-start in fantasy football. The 32-year-old comes off his bye week ranking as the overall WR13 in PPR leagues, tallying a solid six touchdowns to this point. Even with Nacua back in action, managers shouldn't overthink this decision. New Orleans is a great matchup for Adams, as the Saints have allowed the seventh-most receiving touchdowns in 2025. Start him as a high-end WR2 or low-end WR1 in all leagues.

New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson is in line for a high-volume receiving day, poised to exploit a favorable Week 9 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers defense. Robinson, currently the WR23 with 10.08 fantasy points per game, is leading the Giants in targets (57) and operating with an 82.6% snap share, solidifying his role as the top receiving option following injuries. The 49ers defense, while strong against scoring (8th in points against), is the 21st-ranked fantasy defense versus wide receivers, allowing a generous 33.81 fantasy points per game. Notably, San Francisco struggles to generate pressure (31st in sacks), which benefits quarterback Jaxson Dart and gives Robinson more time to separate. This high-target floor and plus matchup make Robinson a strong WR2 play with significant upside in this home contest.
