Evans took a hard shot to the body on his first target of the game last Sunday and was eventually removed from the game later in the first half after clutching at his side in obvious pain following a broken pass play. Evans missed the 49ers' first two practices of the week but was a limited participant on Friday. If Evans is forced to sit, the offense will have greater focus on George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey, with wide receivers Deebo Samuel Sr., Jordan Watkins, and Jacob Cowing seeing potential boosts as well. Assuming he is active, Evans is projected as a back-end WR3 playing hurt and with a potential matchup against Pat Surtain. Fantasy managers may want to avoid the risk and find an alternative for Week 4.
