Patrick, who suffered a torn Achilles tendon during Monday's practice, was placed on IR by the Broncos on Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.

New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton caught three of his six targets for 62 yards in the team's 31-28 victory over Arizona. The 26-year-old was blanked in the first half as the Giants struggled to move the football. Down 20 at the half, Daniel Jones came out slinging and Slayton played his part in the comeback. The former fifth-round pick plays a lot of snaps for New York but doesn't typically give managers a fantasy-worthy performance. He should be avoided in Week 3 when the Giants travel to San Francisco for Thursday Night Football.
