Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker hasn't finished in the top 12 since Week 9 when he came in as the K4 on the week. In fact, he has more finishes outside of the top 12 than he does inside. During Week 15's blowout win, Tucker made five extra points, and that was the extent of his fantasy outing. The Ravens take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16 who give up the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing kickers. The last time these two teams played, Tucker registered six fantasy points for a K18 finish. There are better kickers out there for the fantasy playoffs right now.

Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is in the midst of the worst season in his 13-year career. He's only made 70.4% of his 27 field goal attempts this year while missing two extra points on top of it. The New York Giants are right around the middle of the pack against opposing kickers as they give up an average of 8.2 fantasy points per contest. Tucker may have used the bye week in a big way for his confidence, but he's posted eight weeks outside of K1 territory this season. His ceiling is still one of the best kickers in the league, but fantasy managers will want to temper expectations with how this season has gone.

When asked by reporters following his team's 24-19 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh stated he has no plans to move on from kicker Justin Tucker. "If you're asking me if I'm going to move on from Justin Tucker, I'm not really planning on doing that right now," said Harbaugh. "I don't really think that would be wise." It's encouraging for Tucker to get a vote of confidence from his coach, though -- he hasn't exactly been his accurate self thus far in 2024. The 35-year-old missed two more field goals on Sunday afternoon and another extra point attempt. He's already up to six missed field goals this season -- one more than he had all of 2023. With the Ravens sticking with the veteran, he'll get another opportunity to iron out his issues during his team's bye week in Week 14.
Dec 1, 2024 8:57 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker knocked through all of his field goals and extra points in Week 12, but didn't have the highest volume. Just one week prior, he missed multiple kicks against the Steelers which marked his sixth game with at least one miss. Now he goes up against the Philadelphia Eagles who are allowing 6.6 fantasy points per game to opposing kickers. Tucker isn't the same automatic fantasy asset that he once was, but he should be able to land in the low-end K1 area.
Nov 30, 2024 10:33 AM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is in the midst of the least efficient season of his career. He's made just 72.7% of his field goal attempts and has gone 3-for-7 from 50 yards or further. In Week 11, he missed two of his three attempts which ended up being the difference between a win and a loss. Now, he sets his sights on the matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12. The Bolts allow the second-fewest fantasy points per contest to kickers at 5.6. That, combined with Tucker's struggles, means there are better options this week.
Nov 23, 2024 9:33 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has struggled mightily in 2024 and missed two more field goals in the two-point loss to the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11, but head coach John Harbaugh said on Monday that the team has no plans to bring in competition for Tucker. The seven-time Pro Bowler has seen his conversion rate fall to 72.7% this year, which is his lowest mark ever 11 games into a season. His six misses are one more than all of 2023, and he's just on miss shy of tying his career worst. In the team's four losses this year, Tucker has missed five field goals. Sunday was just the sixth time in his 206 career games in which he missed multiple kicks. As a result, the 34-year-old veteran is no longer the most accurate kicker in NFL history, as his career success rate of 89.3% ranks behind Panthers kicker Eddy Pineiro (89.4%). Despite his struggles, Tucker should be considered a top-10 fantasy kicker in Week 12 on Monday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Nov 19, 2024 12:09 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has been quite the boom-or-bust fantasy option this season. He's registered five weeks as a K1, three weeks as a K2, and two weeks outside of the top 24. In Week 10, Tucker only managed to make three of his four extra points and didn't attempt any field goals. He'll go up against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11 who give up the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing kickers. Tucker has the talent to deliver K1 results, but the big question is whether or not the offense will be able to get into field goal range and stall out enough for him to collect more fantasy points.
Nov 16, 2024 4:39 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker bounced back in a big way from Week 8 to Week 9. He finished as the K4 after he knocked through a 34 and 37-yarder while making all five of his extra-point attempts. While the Ravens' offense continues to be elite, it only raises the value of Tucker in all fantasy formats. In Week 10, he'll go up against the Cincinnati Bengals and he finished as the K6 the last time these teams met in Week 5. Fantasy managers can continue to rely on Tucker as he's looked more consistent after his shaky start to the year.
Nov 6, 2024 5:44 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker suffered a down week in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns. While he made all three of his extra-point attempts, he only made one of two field goal attempts throughout the game. His lone make came from 49 yards, but he still finished as a low-end K2. The Denver Broncos, their Week 9 opponent, only give up 6.6 fantasy points per game to opposing kickers, but the Ravens offense should be able to at least move the ball into field goal range. Tucker carries K1 potential, but the tougher matchup does mean there are some better options out there.
Nov 2, 2024 1:07 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has rounded into form over the last few weeks. In their Week 7 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he made all five of his extra points while knocking through a 28 and 52-yarder. He's now made both of his 50-yard attempts since missing the first two to start the season and he's improved to 12-for-15 overall on the year. The Cleveland Browns allow an average of 9.1 fantasy points per game to opposing kickers, and in AFC North matchups, they usually turn out to either be field goal affairs or shootouts that call for plenty of extra points. Either way, Tucker is a solid option to start in Week 8.
Oct 25, 2024 5:34 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has returned to his usual form over the past couple of weeks. In Week 6, he made all three of his extra point attempts and made all three field goals from 45, 32, and 39 yards. He's now averaging 9.3 fantasy points per game and is headed into a week that should have plenty of offensive fireworks. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers allow 9.5 fantasy points per game to opposing kickers, and the Ravens offense is more than likely to move the ball against a defense that allows 365.7 yards per contest. Fantasy managers can be confident in starting Tucker again in this matchup.
Oct 19, 2024 10:15 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker bounced back in a big way in Week 5 after a worrisome stretch through the first four games of the season. The veteran finished as the K6 after making all five of his extra points, a 56-yard field goal, and a 24-yard field goal to win the game for the Ravens in overtime. Kickers don't tend to thrive against the Washington Commanders, because the defense has either been very good or very bad while their offense has limited turnovers. The Ravens are likely to move the ball down the field, but it may result in more extra points rather than field goal attempts. There are better kicking options out there right now until Tucker can show some more consistency.
Oct 11, 2024 10:33 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has taken quite the tumble down the fantasy ladder through the first four weeks. The historically accurate, Texas product has only posted one week in K1 territory so far and has finished K17 or worse in the other three weeks. It's not due to his offense being unable to move the ball as they've scored 20 or more points in each game. He's only making 62.5% of his field goal attempts and has missed both of his 50-yard attempts. The Cincinnati Bengals are only allowing nine fantasy points per game to opposing kickers while Tucker only averages seven. There are better options out there until Tucker gets back on track.
Oct 5, 2024 12:07 AM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has finally shown signs of slowing down this season, much to the surprise of fantasy managers and football fans everywhere. The star kicker clocks in as the K18 to start the season and has already missed three of his eight field goal attempts so far. Week 3 didn't do him any favors as he missed his lone field goal attempt and made four extra points. His Week 4 opponent, the Buffalo Bills, are one of the tougher teams in the early part of this season as they've allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing kickers. The opposing kickers are only averaging 5.7 fantasy points against them right now, and if Tucker continues to miss field goals that he used to make, John Harbaugh and company may start going for it on fourth down more often. Fantasy managers will want to proceed with caution when it comes to starting Tucker this week.
Sep 27, 2024 11:42 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history, yet he's been the only kicker to miss more than one field after the first two games of the season. Both misses were 50+ yards, but that's where he's normally the most automatic. While he missed another one in Week 2, his volume saved his fantasy week as he went 3-for-4 in field goals and 2-for-2 in extra points. His Week 3 matchup, the Dallas Cowboys, is ranked 21st in fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers as they've given up an average of 7.5 points so far. The Ravens' confidence in Tucker still hasn't wavered, so he should see plenty of opportunities to kick field goals from deep, but his "Automatuck" nickname may be on the way out the door.
Sep 20, 2024 11:18 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker hasn't put up the big fantasy numbers that managers have grown accustomed to in recent seasons. Especially when it comes to 50-yard field goals, Tucker has missed five of his last six dating back to the 2023 season. The Ravens offense should be able to move the ball against the Raiders and Tucker returns to home field where he's made 88.8% of his field goals throughout his career. He should see plenty of opportunities for both field goals and extra points in this contest. The worry about Tucker falling from fantasy grace shouldn't kick in unless he strings together multiple bust weeks in a row. So, for now, managers can consider him a mid-to-high-level kicking option in Week 2.
Sep 13, 2024 10:01 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker continues to stick at the top of the kicking ranks heading into his 13th season in the NFL. The Texas product finished as the second-best fantasy kicker last year in what turned out to be more of a down year for the league's most accurate kicker. He made the third-most extra points and third-most 40-to-49-yard field goals while seeing a downward trend in 50+ yarders. With the Ravens offense still expected to put points on the board and the seemingly limitless range of Tucker, he's primed for yet another season as one of the top kickers in the league. Fantasy managers can play him in confidence heading into the Week 1 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Sep 4, 2024 7:41 PM EST
The Baltimore Ravens restructured the contract of All-Pro kicker Justin Tucker on Tuesday, in addition to defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike and linebacker Roquan Smith, to create $9.3 million in salary cap space for the 2024 season. The move gives the Ravens more roster flexibility as they compete to get past the hump and to the Super Bowl this year. Believe it or not, Tucker wasn't the most valuable fantasy kicker in 2023; it was the Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey. Tucker missed five of his 37 field-goal attempts last year and one of his 52 extra-point tries, but he still managed to finish as the No. 2 fantasy kicker despite what was a down year for his standards. Nobody is panicking, though. The 34-year-old veteran still has an NFL-record 90.2% success rate and should remain one of the top fantasy kickers again in 2024 in a strong offense in Baltimore.
Sep 3, 2024 7:10 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker may not have attempted any field goals in Week 17 but was able to produce a respectable fantasy performance. He was able to make all eight of his extra-point attempts. That was his first game without attempting a single field goal since Week 4 and just the second one of the season. In Week 18, the offense is going to be a shell of itself while plenty of the starters get a well-deserved rest week after locking up the first seed in the AFC. This also means that Tucker should get plenty of opportunities when the offense inevitably stalls against a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that is fighting for its playoff hopes.
Jan 5, 2024 5:32 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker delivered another double-digit fantasy performance in Week 16 against the San Francisco 49ers. He made three 20-yarders and a 40-yarder combined with three extra points. The Ravens' ability to move the ball down the field on offense and create turnovers to shorten the field on defense, gives Tucker easier opportunities. Since the Miami Dolphins boast a solid run defense, red zone opportunities could stall when they hand the ball off, giving Tucker even more opportunities. He's currently the K3 and averages 9.5 fantasy points per game with double-digit fantasy outings in five of his last seven games.
