Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Rakim Jarrett made his season debut against the Atlanta Falcons last week. Jarrett hauled in all three of his targets for 58 yards in the loss. Normally, Jarrett would serve as depth, but the Bucs are extremely banged up at wideout. Both Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (ankle) are unavailable for Week 9. Also, Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Jalen McMillan (hamstring) are listed on the injury report ahead of Monday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. That means, Jarrett and Trey Palmer could end up being the top wideouts for the Bucs this week. Jarrett only saw 27 percent of the snaps last week and still played fairly well. Fantasy managers who plan to start Shepard or McMillan might want to snag Jarrett just in case they sit out.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Rakim Jarrett (quad) is being designated to return from the Injured Reserve list. The team has 21 days to activate him to the 53-man roster. The rookie suffered a quad injury in the Week 11 loss to the San Francisco 49ers and has been out of action ever since. Through the team's first ten games, the 22-year-old caught just four passes on nine targets for 60 yards and rushed once for no gain. That said, he's unlikely to be a factor for the Bucs down the stretch. With Mike Evans and Chris Godwin dominating the targets, it'd be surprising if he sees significant playing time for the remainder of the season or in the playoffs if Tampa Bay gets there.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie wide receiver Rakim Jarrett signed with the team as an undrafted rookie this offseason but has a strong chance to make the 53-man roster, according to Greg Auman of Fox Sports. There is an additional roster spot open after Russell Gage (knee) suffered a season-ending injury. Jarrett posted 40 receptions for 471 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games for Maryland last season. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Trey Palmer will likely start in three wide receiver sets, but an injury to any of those three players could spring Jarrett into action.
