Ja'Marr Chase Still Leads League in Targets After Bye Week

Tuesday, November 11, 2:00 PM

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase remains the league-leader in targets following the team's Week 10 bye, building a sizable lead with Joe Flacco at quarterback. Chase has been peppered with targets in Flacco's four starts, recording 44 receptions for 457 yards and two touchdowns on a whopping 62 targets. The 25-year-old has 107 targets on the year, with Chris Olave the next closest at 95. The superstar wideout could also be getting his star QB back soon, with Joe Burrow (toe) having his 21-day practice window opened on Monday. Burrow could be returning soon and pick up where Flacco has left off, as the offense has still thrived in his absence. Chase remains one of the top fantasy options regardless of position every week and will look for another dominant performance in Week 11 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ricky Pearsall News

Ricky Pearsall Limited in his Return to Practice on Wednesday

Wednesday, November 12, 6:20 PM

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) returned to practice on Thursday for the first time since suffering a sprained PCL in his knee in Week 4. Nick Wagoner of ESPN reports that Pearsall was slated to be limited in his first practice back. It gives Pearsall a chance to return this weekend for a divisional game against the Arizona Cardinals, but the 25-year-old former first-rounder will probably need to upgrade to a full practice on Thursday or Friday to have a legitimate shot at returning on Sunday. Given his long layoff, fantasy managers should expect Pearsall to be eased back into the offense as well, which means he'll be a pretty risky fantasy play whenever he does return. In addition to Pearsall nearing his return, the Niners could have quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) back for the first time since Week 4. When Pearsall returns, he could be the No. 4 aerial target behind running back Christian McCaffrey, receiver Jauan Jennings, and tight end George Kittle.
