James Conner An RB2 In Week 13

Saturday, December 2, 4:06 AM

Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner quickly fell victim to play script in last week's blowout loss to the Rams as he played in only 42% of the team's snaps. That was a low number for him, as he averages closer to 66%. In Week 13, it could be more of the same, as Conner and the Cardinals go up against a Pittsburgh Steelers team that has allowed the seventh-lowest rushing yards per game since Week 7. This game has the makings of another situation where Conner may have difficulty finding any running room, and the team may choose to see what they have in new teammate Michael Carter. To that end, fantasy managers should view Conner as at best an RB2/3 in Week 13.

Brian Robinson Jr. Won't Return In Week 13

Sunday, December 3, 2:56 PM

Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. He had seven rushes for 53 yards prior to his departure. Although this is far from ideal for Washington, the good news is that he will have extra time to recover during their Week 14 bye. In the short term, Antonio Gibson and Chris Rodriguez Jr. will lead the backfield.
